More Saga Troops

One of my hobby goals for this year is to try to get back into the swing of putting some stuff on my blog. In order to make that happen with the demands of work/kids/life, I am going to try doing more quick and dirty posts…

Saga – Things to Fight Over

One of the more interesting looking of the generic scenarios in the Saga rules is The Escort, in which one force is attempting to escort a train of valuables to safety.  The rules provide some very loose guidelines for the baggage elements in terms of size, but after that, it’s up to the imagination of the gamer as to what he wants to include.  Read More…

Making Smoke Markers

I’ve had several inquiries as to how I made the smoke columns seen in the pictures from my games marking everything from burning tanks to exploding aircraft.  The last time I added to the collection I took a bunch of pictures, so the following is a photoessay of how I produced these game aids.  It is really pretty easy and quick to churn out a couple of dozen.
